Interesting design to the backrest with curving top rail either side of the projecting centre splat with carved acanthus detail and a satinwood inlaid lozenge. Elegant curving arms on swept supports to the carvers. Over large padded seats recently upholstered in red leather with copper studs. Raised on tapering front legs with spade block feet and joined with H stretchers, plus a rear stretcher for extra strength.
