From the oldest Grenache vineyard in South Africa – planted in 1952, which has only 12 very special rows of vines! This wine shows bright, light almost luminous ruby colour. Floating aromas of wild strawberries and raspberry with a hint of supple leather, pepper, dried herbs and rose petals. On the nose its more about the perfume than the weight. The palate is very polished and weightless with cool mineral undertones, cloves and wild herbs. The finish is long with tight dry and grainy tannins. A tip top old vine Grenache!
